In the summer of 2015 with the help of The Handwerker Gallery curators Mara Baldwin and Vin Manta, I grew four beds of dye plants in the Ithaca College Gardens for the exhibition Make Do. Plants grown: Coreopsis, Cosmos, Marigold, Hopi Sunflower, and Japanese Indigo. For the workshop at IC's Chemistry/Art class, students harvested all of these plants and we later made dye baths from them.
